Job Summary

We seek an eDiscovery/Litigation Consultant to join our Litigation Consulting team. This position is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set, whose responsibilities include project management, eDiscovery and Review best practices, and managing client expectations. The ideal person for this role will not only have a strong grasp of eDiscovery methodologies, tools, and technologies but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the success of high-profile projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. From leading eDiscovery projects to providing expert advice on best practices, the Consultant will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and legal strategies. The Litigation Consulting team is known for its dynamic and collaborative environment, where creativity and strategic thinking are highly valued. The Consultant will have the opportunity to contribute to developing and implementing advanced eDiscovery strategies, making a meaningful impact on the outcomes of legal matters.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement day-to-day workflows to solve complex data-related challenges, aligning with senior-level objectives and ensuring the success of eDiscovery projects.
  • Execute day-to-day tasks involving identifying, organizing, collecting, processing, reviewing, and producing electronic data, actively contributing to the overall project success.
  • Manage time and tasks efficiently daily, meeting client deadlines and supporting the broader goals of eDiscovery projects.
  • Participate actively in day-to-day internal and external meetings, providing valuable insights as a Consultant in the eDiscovery field.
  • Generate consistent and thorough day-to-day documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting project processes.
  • Engage in day-to-day communication with clients, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to ensure timely completion of tasks, establish project goals, and review associated costs.
  • Lead day-to-day efforts to ensure high-quality client work product across project teams, demonstrating expertise and guidance in eDiscovery.
  • Support the day-to-day document review lifecycle, utilizing various technologies to identify responsive documents through production.
  • Oversee the day-to-day preparation and production of information for legal proceedings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Implement day-to-day quality control measures throughout the eDiscovery process to validate data accuracy and defensibility.
  • Staying up-to-date with day-to-day eDiscovery software, tools, and emerging technologies to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency is a key responsibility of an eDiscovery Consultant.

Skills + Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. degree from a four-year accredited college or university. Degrees in law, data analytics, information technology, forensics, accounting, and/or other related fields is preferred.
  • J.D. is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in eDiscovery project management or consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of eDiscovery tools, document review platforms, and litigation support technologies. Experience in Everlaw, Reveal, and/or Relativity is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to electronic discovery.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead team-oriented projects and tasks within a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure, as well as strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, eagerness for continued development, and motivation to succeed
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior team members and clients
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate new technologies and workflows
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
