Elizabeth Koenig leads consulting services at ILS, managing a team of eDiscovery consultants and advising Plaintiffs’ attorneys on all aspects of eDiscovery. She has nearly a decade of experience working with Plaintiffs’ attorneys on the most high-profile mass tort and class action litigations in the nation. Elizabeth is an ACEDS Certified E-Discovery Specialist and frequently writes and presents on electronic discovery issues.
Before joining ILS, Elizabeth spent eight years practicing law at Milbank LLP in New York City and Los Angeles. Elizabeth holds a J.D. from UCLA School of Law and a B.A. from Boston University, and is a member of the California, New York, and Massachusetts bars.

Michael Ciaramitaro
V.P. of Technical Operations and Digital Forensics
Michael Ciaramitaro leads ILS’ Technical Operations and Digital Forensics Department and provides expert-level consultation to support our clients. For 20 years, he has influenced trends and technologies in computer forensics and data collections. A pioneer in developing remote collection techniques, Michael has developed methods for collecting data from hand-held devices, social media, and cloud sources.
As an expert witness in digital forensics, he has provided testimony in numerous cases and has assisted with 30(b)(6) depositions, crafting interrogatories, and administering custodial interviews. His experience assists clients in optimizing discovery demands and understanding defendants' digital architecture.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Business Management from Pepperdine University and several EnCase certifications and training.

Doug Forrest
Senior Vice President, eDiscovery Analytics and Strategy
Doug Forrest is a nationally recognized eDiscovery expert with over a decade of experience negotiating ESI protocols and validation methodology for defense-side use of predictive coding.
Doug also assists Plaintiffs’ counsel with developing best strategies and practices to obtain and produce Plaintiff electronic discovery, and manages ILS’ data mining initiatives regarding missing custodians, potential discovery abuse, efficacy of search terms, and various other data analyses. As a lawyer and an information technology professional, Doug brings unique multidisciplinary experience to his practice, assisting counsel with surmounting technical challenges across the entire eDiscovery process.
Doug has been involved with legal technology for over 25 years, beginning as an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he assisted with the first large-scale implementation of a computerized litigation support tool. He also previously served as the eDiscovery Services Manager for Guidance Software, the creators of EnCase, the most widely used forensic and enterprise eDiscovery software.
Doug earned his B.A. degree from Antioch College and his J.D. degree from Stanford University where he also served as a Note Editor of the Stanford Law Review.

Tony Chu

Tony Chu works with clients to uncover the truth behind the data through leveraging advanced analytics using cutting-edge technologies.
Before joining ILS, Tony practiced as a litigator where he represented Plaintiffs in lawsuits ranging from mass torts to securities fraud. At ILS, Tony continues his pursuit of ensuring that Plaintiffs obtain adequate relief and compensation, and that corporations are held accountable for their wrongdoings.
Tony earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University, his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law, and is a member of the bars of California, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. Tony is also an ACEDS Certified eDiscovery Specialist and a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production.

Sri Gupta
Senior Litigation Consultant
Sri Gupta comes to ILS with a wealth of experience as a Plaintiffs’ lawyer in mass torts and complex litigation. He has been involved in many large pharmaceutical, medical device and products liability mass torts, including MDL 2151 (In re: Toyota Motor Corp), MDL 2299 (In re: Actos), MDL 2333 (In re: MI Windows and Doors), MDL 2382 (In re: Emerson Electric Co), and MDL 2391 (In re: Biomet M2A Magnum Hip Implants). He was appointed chair of the Science Committee in MDL 2244 (In Re: DePuy Orthopaedics Pinnacle Hip Implants) and also appeared and worked on state court proceedings in that case in Louisiana, California, Missouri, New York and New Jersey.
Sri studied European Law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and received his JD cum laude from Tulane University Law School, also earning an additional certificate in International and Comparative Law. He maintains an active license to practice law in Louisiana.

George Swoyer
Litigation Consultant
An attorney since 2001 with a focus on eDiscovery, George Swoyer advises Plaintiffs on eDiscovery best practices, designs workflows to enhance document reviews, and helps navigate the challenges of discovery.
Before joining ILS, George worked as a Team Lead and Project Manager for one of the largest defense-oriented eDiscovery companies. He has significant experience managing large review teams as well as higher level reviews for privilege, sensitive document analysis, and leveraging technology assisted review.
George attended the Delaware School of Law and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. George is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (ACEDS), a Brainspace certified Genius, an iCONECT Certified Project Manager, and holds several Relativity certifications.

Jason Meyers
Litigation Consultant
As a consultant at ILS, Jason enjoys advising Plaintiffs' counsel on methods to successfully navigate the discovery process using the latest technologies.
Before joining ILS in 2021, Jason practiced law for five years at the Plaintiffs’ law firm Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC, where he managed large review teams, including on several high profile opioid litigations.
Jason earned his JD from the Washington University School of Law and is a member of the Missouri State Bar.

Hajime Sato
Manager of Linguistic Services
Hajime Sato wears two distinct hats at ILS, managing both the ILS Technical Support team and ILS’ Linguistic Services group.
In his technical role, Hajime trains and supervises the ILS technical support staff who respond to requests from our clients. Hajime takes pride in his team’s ability to respond to clients in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
As Manager of ILS’ Linguistic Services group, Hajime oversees various linguistic services for ILS, including machine translation, foreign language document review, interpretation for depositions and trials, and certified translations. Hajime has led the translation efforts for several notable mass torts, including litigations related to Toyota unintended acceleration, Takata combustible airbags, and the Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal.
Hajime holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kyoto University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He is certified as a Japanese translator by the American Translators Association (ATA) and is the Assistant Administrator of the ATA's Japanese Language Division. Before joining ILS, Hajime had a successful freelance translation practice for nearly 20 years.
